There is no denying it: Climate change is leading to more erratic weather patterns and generally to hotter, dryer summers. The impact on our gardens is profound. In the Southwest of Germany, these changes are particularly pronounced and gardeners there are trying to adapt their plantings accordingly. This talk will show you some of the plantings Anne C. Repnow has designed in the past years with hot, dry summers in mind. She will take you through the seasons in her own gravel garden and highlight those plants – both shrubs and perennials – that seem to thrive under these changed conditions.

This Masterclass is suitable for Beginners and Improvers.
Jacinta will give a demo on techniques and show her painting process and will help you with one to one tuition. During the day , students will learn about perspective, colour theory, mixing and several techniques to help students gain confidence to produce paintings with panache and atmosphere. Easels will be supplied on the day. Artists will get a list of required materials on confirmation of booking.
